Hot on the tail of the Rise of Iron livestream from Gamescom, there’s news of private matches in Destiny! The community has been asking for private matches since the original game was released all way the back in 2014, and now Bungie have finally answered their cries.
Private matches will allow Crucible players to choose the map, gametype and who joins them. This is a blessing for the community, especially streamers to play with their viewers. Private matches won’t be limited to just Rise of Iron however; all current-generation DLCs will be able to run them. Clans are also getting a boost in the new DLC, with an active roster making it easier to play online with your team.
Furthermore, Rise of Iron will be coming with a new game mode – Supremacy. This new online mode will see players attempting to collect crests after killing enemies. This is very similar to Call of Duty‘s Kill Confirmed game mode, and you can see more about it in GameInformer’s article.
Destiny: Rise of Iron will be released for Xbox One and Playstation 4 on September 20th, 2016.
